Current
teen icons, Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh, albeit boyish, are all hovering around 35! Adolescent girls needed a younger, new
poster boy and Aftab Shivdasani, the star of Ram Gopal
Verma's Mast, has proved to be just the ticket.
What
is in your wallet right now?
My house
keys, my license, my small telephone directory, my ID card and
500 rupees.
Are you
religious?
I beleive
in God but not in any divisions on caste and religious lines.
I believe in humanity. I pray to God to make me a stronger human
being. He responds in his own way. One way I guess is by giving
me Mast.
When
was the last time you cried?
When my
naani died a couple of years ago.
What
do you do when you feel lonely?
I am a loner
but I am rarely lonely. If I am, I listen to some music. I like
Enigma, Deep Forest and Yanni.
Are
you thin-skinned about criticism?
I love criticism
before I get compliments. Negative feedback is necessary, it
tells you where there is scope for improvement.
Do spirits
put you in high spirits?
I drink
only once in a while.
What
do you sleep in?
Pyjamas.
What
are your drawbacks?
I am emotional,
I trust too easily but I am learning to get a grip on my emotions.
If anybody says something nasty about me I get hurt easily.
But thankfully I have the ability to bounce back.
